DEFENSIVE CARBINE 1

Carbine 1 is designed to effectively use a carbine style rifle in defensive applications. Topics include:

• emergency reloads
• rifle malfunctions
• multiple target engagement
• various shooting positions
• shooting before, during, after movement
• transition to pistol (where appropriate)

Required Equipment: Carbine, minimum 3 magazines, eye and ear protection

Recommended: rifle sling, belt or chest rig to carry magazines, 

Minimum 750 rounds rifle ammunition

Students may bring a pistol mounted on a belt for transitions if desired (recommended)
