OFT Pistol Skill Orientation
This class is designed to introduce the novice shooter to concepts and skills that they need to safely begin their training journey. With a discussion session covering critical topics on firearm function and ammunition that progresses into a dry fire then live fire.

All work will be down from a table. No holsters or mag carriers needed.

Understanding your full presentation/natural aiming area
Understanding sight acquisition during presentation
Understanding your point of aim at various distances
Wrap-up Discussion, next steps for gear and training.
A semi-automatic pistol—recommend 4” barreled and up, but not required.
200 rounds of target ammunition
Minimum of 3 magazines
Clothing suitable for training in any weather, please note this class is outside
Wraparound eyewear, polycarbonate lenses or non-shattering prescription glasses
Earmuffs/Ear Protection—electronic preferred.
Notebook and pen for note taking
Water, and snacks as needed
Humble willing to learn attitude
