*SOLD OUT* SPORTING CLAY OUTING 2021

This is our yearly sporting clay outing at Orvis Sandanona.  If you've never done it before, its like golf, but with shotguns. Price includes: 100 clay targets, cart for 4,  lunch in the Orvis dining facility after the shoot, a trapper per foursome, and includes tips for the dining staff and trapper. 

A semi auto or double barrel shotgun is recommended.  A pump shotgun is VERY difficult to use during this sport and not recommended.  Shotguns are available for rent from Orvis for $50 and can be paid the day of the event.

Required Equipment: 

100 rounds shotgun ammo (can be purchased day of shoot)

Eye proetction

Hearing protection (small ear inserts ("foamies") are recommended rather than large traditional head sets. 

Both eye and ear protection are complimentary from Orvis and will be available the day of the event.

SPOTS ARE LIMITED. We recommend signing up early.  Cut off to sign up is October 4, 2021.  Event is Monday, October 11 (Columbus Day). Arrive NO LATER THAN 9:30 AM AT ORVIS. Shoot starts at 10am. The shooting round lasts approximately 3 hours followed by included lunch. Payment is expected at time of sign up.
