USCCA Concealed Carry

The USCCA Concealed Carry class is a basic defensive handgun course for those who carry, or are considering carrying, a handgun for self-defense. USCCA Concealed Carry is an informational and hands-on class in the carrying and use of a handgun in self-defense.

About the Event

Jeff Cooper, the legendary founder of Gunsite Academy, is credited with saying, “Owning a handgun doesn’t make you armed any more than owning a guitar makes you a musician.” This class is meant to address that issue by providing some of the basic knowledge and skills that will contribute to your being effectively armed.

This course will consist of 1-2 hours of classroom material, and remaining time will consist of simulator time. The class is nominally four hours in length, but sometimes runs a bit longer, based on student questions.

  • Defensive Shooting Fundamentals
  • Legal Use of Force
  • Violent Encounters & Their Aftermath
  • Gear and Gadgets
  • Basic and Advanced Skills
  • Simulator based dynamic drills including holster draw

Cost: $125 per person

Class Size: Minimum 4 / Maximum 10

NO LIVE FIREARMS OR AMMUNITION IN THE CLASSROOM. Please secure your firearm in gun store lockers prior to class.
